Did not stay there, because I could not make a reservation. I tried several times to reserve on their website, always getting an error message to the effect that 'something' went wrong, so I should call a certain phone number. I called that number, but the agent who answered could not make my reservation either -- she said there was trouble with the website, she couldn't confirm my Millenium membership, couldn't get into the website, blah blah. She would have her supervisor call me. That was two days ago. Still no phone call from them. Much as the hotel seems to be in a good location, now even if a reservation were possible, I have no interest in a hotel that is so terribly inefficient and unresponsive.

Nowhere near worth $400/night!

When you're paying up to $400/night, it's the little things that matter. Unfortunately they didn't matter a jot to this hotel. I was in what's jokingly known as the penthouse (the 8th floor), but as far as I could tell, it was a standard room. In fact the description should have been 'greenhouse'; whenever it was cold out, the room was freezing with a draught under the room door/balcony door; if the sun was shining, the room was up to 87 degrees at the end of the day, despite the aircon being on. The other (many) small inconsitencies included - Unbothered staff, without a smile from check in to check out - The whole of my stay (almost a week), the separate elevator between 7 and 8 was out of service, and of the 2 main elevators only one was ever working. So they had at least a week to fix two elevators, and fixed neither. - Housekeeping was inconsistent with the provision of towels, toiletries, and cleaning the bathroom. - The plug in the washbasin didn't function - The door handle was loose - The bedcovers were thin (see above reference to being draughty) - I wasn't offered porterage on check in. That's not a big thing for me, my bags were manageable, but for the money, I'd expect to be offered (and especially as the 7-8th floor elevator wasn't working) - Exterior soundproofing was non existent (mainly because the two exterior walls were mostly poorly fitting windows): there was constant street noise morning and night. On the plus side, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, but I could have had both of these things for less than half what I paid here. I wouldn't come back without some reassurances that these little things were taken care of. If I'd paid half, there might have been a third 'star' in my review....might...

Beautiful room. We booked through Airbnb and were not Informed about the parking fee per day. Charge you for things in refrigerator but make it seem like it’s complementary to your stay. Luckily we knew better. Great location in downtown Boston. Staff were very friendly.

This is where you want to be when visiting the Boston waterfront! What a great location, you are walking distance to all of the best restaurants and shopping. Had a Great experience at the Bostonian, Fantastic staff and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Brilliant location very central with everything within walking distance. Comfortable clean rooms. Would highly recommend staying here. The Boston Tea Party and Freedom Trail are must do tours and if you're lucky enough to do the Freedom Trail at 2pm on a Sunday you'll get the wonderful Matthew who was amazing. Boston Bruins ice hockey is also definitely up there.
